디스크...슬라이스....포멧...
먼저 디스크 라벨과 파티션에 대해서 야그하겠습니다..
솔라리스의 모든 디스크는 디스크의 컨트롤러, 섹터, 트랙, 실린더, 슬라이스에 관한 정보를
저장하기 위한 특별한 영역을 가지고 있습니다.
이러한 정보를 포함하고 있는 것을 Disk Label 또는 VTOC(Volume Table Of Conterts)라고 합니다..
이 정보는 디스크의 첫번째 섹터에 저장됩니다..
일단 라벨을 기록한다는 의미는 슬라이스의 정보를 디스크에 기록한다는 것입니다..
윈도우 사용자나..리눅스 사용자가 조금 혼동하는 의미를 가진 것은 슬라이스입니다...
이것은 나누어진 파티션내의 한 부분을 의미합니다...머..어케보면 파티션이나 그게 그거긴 하지만요..헐헐~
즉, 하나의 파티션에 또 다른 경계선을 긋는다는 의미입니다...
보통 솔라리스 설치시에 기본적으로 5개로 나뉘는 것을 볼 수 있습니다...
/(root) : root파일 시스템
swap : 가상 메모리 공간
/opt : 추가적인 소프트웨어 설치시 사용
/usr : os의 명령어들과 프로그램
/export/home : 사용자의 파일과 디렉토리
파티션 테이블을 살펴보는 것은 format 유틸리티를 사용합니다..

파티션 테이블에 대한 각 필드의 의미는 다음과 같습니다..
Part : 슬라이스 번호 (0~7)
Tag : 슬라이스가 사용되고 있는 방법을 가르키기 위해 사용되는 값
Flag : wm : 쓰기/마운트 할 수 있다.
: wu : 쓰기가능 마운트는 할수 없다.(스왑영역의 기본상태)
: rm : read_only/마운트
Cylinders : 디스크 슬라이스늬 처음과 끝의 번호
Size : 슬라이스 크기
Blocks : 실린더의 Total number 와 슬라이스당 섹터의 total nubmer
일단 포멧 유틸리티를 수행하였다면 솔라리스는 /etc/format.dat 파일에서 정보를 읽어서 수행합니다..

디스크 포멧은 다음과 같이하면 됩니다..

간단하죠?
마지막으로 하드디스크 추가하는 방법을 살펴보겠습니다..
먼저 시스템을 정지시킨후 디스크를 연결합니다...외장형인 경우는 외장박스의 전원등을 켭니다...
그담에 newfs 명령을 이용해서 /dev/dsk/c0t1d0s6의 식으로 새로운 파일시스템을 생성합니다..
(예: newfs /dev/dsk/c0t1d0s6)
어느 디렉토리로 새로운 디스크의 파티션을 마운트 할것인지 결정하고 mkdir 명령으로 mount point를 생성합니다..
(예: # mkdir /dataA)
mount명령으로 새로운 디스크를 마운트합니다...
(예: # mount -F ufs /dev/dsk/c0t1d0s6 /dataA)
df-k 명령으로 확인합니다...
시스템이 부팅시마다 새로운 디스크를 마운트하도록 하기 위해서 /etc/vfstab 파일에 추가시킵니다..
